I own the RX-A3050 and finally got my first sub delivered, a SB2000 Pro.
I’m using the Yammy AV Controller app and see a number of settings of relevance. Can someone explain the difference between:
1) Tone Control - Bass [-6/+6dB]
2) Extra Bass [On/Off]
3) Subwoofer Trim [-6/+6dB]
Struggling to understand the difference in performance between them.

Don`t touch any of those! Run the YPAO with only 3mic positions first how SVS quick guide tells you. Set the low pass filter LFE, phase 0 and volume to -10 via phone app, double check the guide. Change speaker size all Small after YPAO is finished and look speaker crossovers make changes if any of them is set below 80hz (bump them up). Check that subwoofer level is not -10db (out of range), if it´s lower that in negative trim side that is ok.
Tone control affects for speakers, keep these 0. Extra bass keep off, i think you can´t even activate this if speaker size is small but anyway don`t activate it. Subwoofer trim is likely source specific, don´t touch this keep it 0db.
After YPAO if you want more oomph you can reduce the "subwoofer level" found under speaker level menu by 3db (example from -6db to -3db) OR just use the SVS phone app boosting the volume. Keep in mind subwoofe placement can make big difference. SVS like most subwoofer manufacturers recommends to start from front corner furthest from any openings. 25% front wall width may work fine too, but corner loading small sealed sub does have benefits.
PS. The reason for doing only 3mic positions first is to check that you don`t set the sub too high (-10db for subwoofer level) as that means you would need to run it again and it`s painfull to do the all 8mic positions again. Make sure room is fully silent and keep the mic placement area fairly tight so not other side of room. MLP first then either side of this. Also don`t change the subwoofer distance figure after running setup, the DSP adds some delay so it shows the sub being further away than it really is. That is normal!
